Does Skyller require a Microsoft 365 subscription?

No. Your company can publish documents and use agents, boards and assessments in Skyller. Microsoft 365 can be connected where useful, according to the catalog, permissions and plan integration limits.

Can Copilot query external data and create assessments?

Yes. Synced and federated connectors query external sources. Forms offers quizzes with points and deadlines, and Copilot Studio extends agents and channels. Compare how those pieces fit your workflow, including their licenses and usage.

Does it make sense to keep both products?

It can, for example using Copilot in Word, Excel and Teams routines and Skyller for cross-department workflows. The decision depends on the work covered and combined cost; subscribing to both does not automatically save money.

Does every action need another person’s approval?

No. Actions configured for confirmation wait for the person who initiated the run. Documents have separate governance: a workspace may require single approval or review followed by approval, with recorded roles and decisions. These are different, configurable controls.

What happens when AI credits run out?

When the balance or AI quota runs out, Skyller conversations switch to economy mode. This does not make every feature unlimited: modes, usage, allowances, permissions and API access remain subject to the plan and configuration.

The name “Copilot” covers different things at Microsoft, and comparing the wrong one would be dishonest. Here is the one that went in.
